GEOFF LUNDQUIST ASSOCIATES ARCHITECTS was established in Seattle, Washington in 1974. Since then the firm's projects have consisted of residential, commercial, multi-family, and hospitality. We have experience in renovation and new construction and we like all sizes and shapes of projects, large and small.
We find challenging sites and complicated design criteria especially interesting. GLA has experience in historic preservation - with projects in Seattle's historic Pioneer Square District, as well as individual buildings of historic significance located outside the historic district.
The goal in all our work is a strong emphasis on the details and quality of the created space, and a commitment to personal service.
Our ability to sketch and render concepts for buildings and spaces has become a valuable tool in communicating ideas to the client in the early stages of design. Such early conceptual design packages can be instrumental in bringing fledging projects to life and getting those projects launched.
GEOFF LUNDQUIST is a Seattle Native and studied architecture at the University of Washington, receiving a Bachelor of Architecture degree in 1967. Geoff pursued related studies in drawing, painting, and sculpture for an additional year at the UW, continuing on in Florence, Italy. In 1970, Geoff closed out his European experience with an exhibition of work in Florence, and returned to Seattle to begin apprenticeship in architecture, becoming licensed to practice in 1974.
In addition to a workload of architecture, related projects are always in the dream stages or underway.
